The beautiful Brianne Huish with her sons Jack (3) and Ryker (8 months). Brianne and her husband knew that getting pregnant may prove difficult as her husband had cancer as a child. They tried for a short time before considering IVF treatments and with their second embryo were able to conceive Jack. Brianne had an easy pregnancy but her birth was difficult. The doctors were horrible and he ultimately had to be delivered with forceps assistance. She was able to nurse Jack for a year when they decided to start trying again. The third embryo initially took but miscarried soon after. Once Brianne was able to grieve her loss and give her body a break, they tried again and she was able to conceive Ryker. She had another easy pregnancy and wonderful birth experience. Breastfeeding this time has proven more difficult due to months of thrush and potential food sensitivities. She says they are still trying to hit their stride but are continuing to work on it. Brianne has dealt with postpartum depression following each of her births and she's been able to use medication to help her cope. Brianne wants to celebrate her body that has done something so amazing as create, sustain and nourish life. The fact that embryos created in a lab were able to grow and thrive in her body, that she was able to give birth and feed them is a wonderful feat.
