The beautiful Deanna Rummelhoff with her daughter Amanda Britton and grandsons Judah (3) and Eli (8 months).
Deanna is the mother of eight, John (34), Michael (33), Paul (31), David (29), Amanda (25), Steven (19), Joseph (16) and Timothy (13). She currently has 13 grandchildren and two more on the way. All of Deanna's pregnancies were healthy and she gave birth to each of them in hospital with no medications or interventions. She was able to successfully breastfeed all of her babies and says that regarding her pregnancies, births and breastfeeding experiences, she wouldn't change a thing.
Amanda had healthy pregnancies with each of her boys. She had a natural hospital birth with Judah but had quite a lot of trouble with breastfeeding. She started leaning a lot more about breastfeeding and ultimately decided to become a doula. Her doula training then led her to choose to give birth to her second son at home and she says it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Breastfeeding this time around has been much easier as well.
Amanda chose to participate in the project simply to celebrate her motherhood. As a young mother, she often feels a disconnect from her peers yet adores her role as woman and mother. Her mother chose to join her and her sons to support her only daughter and show just how proud she is of her.
