The radiant Rebecca Nicol with her 13 month old son, Trae. Rebecca had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy and was worried that she wouldn't be able to get pregnant again. Thankfully, she had a very healthy pregnancy with Trae and had hoped for a natural delivery. She was able to labor without an epidural for about 13 hours but was dilating very slowly. When she was told she likely had at least 4 more hours of labor to go, she chose to have an epidural and while she said she sometimes regrets the decision, she did what she need to do to have a healthy delivery. She and Trae have a beautiful breastfeeding relationship. She struggled with recurrent plugged ducts for the first 9 months but is happy she worked past the pain.
