The lovely Christine Sheets Nutile with Cami (10.5), Frankie (8) and Maggie (5.5). Christine dealt with significant Hyperemesis Gravidarum with all of her pregnancies. She says that she was lucky with her care providers but her family, friends, other medical professions and even government employees didn't understand and thought she was exaggerating and being dramatic. Christine says that she had relatively uneventful birth experiences. Her delivery with Cami was her most difficult, her water broke but labor hadn't started so she needed Pitocin to jumpstart things and Stadol to let her rest. Maggie was delivered in a wheel chair in the hospital hallway while Christine was fully clothed. Christine is a doula herself who has given birth with the assistance of midwives and is a strong advocate for all women having a doula to help support their birth.
