The lovely Nicole Daeger with her daughter Brooke (2). She is also pregnant with baby number 2, who is due in February. Nicole had a really easy pregnancy with Brooke, but her labor and delivery was quite the opposite. She had to be induced one week post-dates and after 24 hours of induction, had to start pitocin as well. She chose to have an epidural and continued to labor for a few days. She ended up pushing for 6 hours, but due to the shape of her pelvis and the way that Brooke was positioned she had to deliver Brooke via cesarean. Both she and her husband were so exhausted by the time her daughter was finally born; it was difficult. Nicole attempted to breastfeed but never really got the hang of it and didn't really like it, so she quit after a few weeks. She is planning to have a repeat cesarean with her second baby but is hoping that things will go better having it scheduled.
