The marvelous Deb Murphy with her son Brooks (12 weeks). Deb's journey to motherhood took much longer than she'd ever anticipated. She and her husband tried to conceive for about 3 years and spent another year working with fertility specialists. After several failed IUI attempts they chose to shift directions a bit rather than move onto IVF attempts. Knowing their infertility concerns were male factor they decided to see a urologist outside of the fertility clinic who diagnosed her husband with Varicoceles. They decided to go ahead and have it surgically corrected knowing there was a chance it could help them conceive, and within just a couple months, Deb was pregnant. She had a very healthy pregnancy and felt grateful throughout it all that she was finally becoming a mother. Deb says that parenthood has been an adjustment and she feels that she's still setting in but is so thankful to have Brooks here.
