The beautiful Laura Snyder with her boys Logan (2.5) and Clark (16 months). Laura was also pregnant with her third baby early this year but miscarried at about 10 weeks. Her first pregnancy happened unexpectedly but was very welcomed. She was healthy throughout but had a scare at her 20 week ultrasound. She was told that Logan had dilated kidneys, which was a marker for Down Syndrome and she was urged to have amniocentesis, but she just knew that everything was going to be okay. She had a vaginal delivery in hospital with midwives. Her water broke the day before her due date and she was able labor at home. She had hoped to breastfeed Logan directly but became an exclusive pumper and was able to continue providing him with breast milk until he was about 6 months old and she learned she was pregnant with Clark! Her pregnancy with Clark was healthy as well and because she was more comfortable this time around she was able to create a more soothing labor environment. Her breastfeeding relationship with Clark was successful and he just self weaned a couple weeks ago.
