The beautiful Tiffany Sanders with her son Devon (5) and twin daughters Adalyn and Londyn (2). Tiffany had a relatively healthy pregnancy with Devon and had hoped for an intervention free delivery. However he was 10 lbs and got stuck during delivery so she had to have an emergent cesarean birth with vertical incision. Devon wasn't breathing when he was born and was taken away without Tiffany knowing whether he was okay. Her pregnancy with her twins was uncomplicated until she was 19 weeks and started laboring. She was told she would lose them both, but labor was able to be stopped and she was kept in hospital until she delivered at 28 weeks. Her girls were born weighing 2lbs each and spent the next two months in NICU. Thankfully, they are both healthy today. Tiffany has had a difficult time processing her traumatic pregnancy and birth experiences. She has also struggled with the new body she has that is completely different from her physical self prior to motherhood but she is working to embrace it and focus on the ways her heart and mind has grown as a mother.
