The stunning Sarah Condry with her boys Peter (6) and Phineas (2). Sarah suffered from Hyperemisis Gravidarum throughout both of her pregnancies which was quite difficult to deal with and meant that she was not quite able to enjoy her time pregnant as she had imagined she would. Peter's labor and delivery was quite challenging while Phineas was more calm and in line with her wishes. Breastfeeding was something that Sarah found very important but wasn't certain she'd have success due a breast reduction in her younger years. Thankfully, she was able to exclusively nurse both of her boys without complication and Phineas is still nursing today.
Sarah struggled with anorexia for many years and says that she always had somewhat of a hatred for a body. With a history of eating disorder and issues with body image, the physical changes that pregnancy and postpartum bring can be very scary. She has a history of depression as well and says that she was on high alert for antinatal/postpartum depression both during and after her pregnancies. It never came, until it did, sometime after Phineas was born and it caught her quite by surprise. Sarah has been able to dive into creative endeavors including her photography business and co-ownership of Woven Wings (Luxury Woven Wraps and Carries) that have allowed her to process and work through. She's finally been able to begin seeing her body for the amazing vessel that created her children's lives though it is sometimes still a struggle.
