The amazing Samantha Gray with her son Evan (4) and daughter Annaliece (9 months). Samantha says that she is great at getting pregnant but that being pregnant is difficult. She has been sick to the point of vomiting every day of both of her pregnancies. She had gestational diabetes with Evan and ended up requesting to be induced because she was worried about carrying past term. She was in labor for 36 hours, received an epidural and Evan ended up getting distressed. He had to spend a day in the NICU and was in otherwise good health but Samantha felt that her labor experience was what landed him there. She just barely avoided Gestational diabetes with Annaliece and knew she wanted a different labor this time. She hired a doula at the last minute and delivered under the care of midwives, able to labor in the water and deliver naturally with very minimal interventions. She had felt down on her body after her sons delivery but says that once her daughter was born she has gotten very comfortable in her skin. Samantha has enjoyed a wonderful breastfeeding relationship with Evan, was able to nurse him through her pregnancy and has continued through her nursing relationship with her daughter.
