The beautiful Tracy Batchelor and baby Bert (1). Tracy and her husband tried for some time to get pregnant before exploring infertility. While she assumed she was having problems herself it was uncovered that were actually struggling with male infertility requiring follow up with a urologist and reproductive endocrinologist before determining that they would need IVF to conceive. Their first treatment took and resulted in a healthy pregnancy. Tracy absolutely loved being pregnant and enjoyed everything from the nausea to the pains as it was simply reassurance to her that she was finally pregnant. Tracy had planned on a natural birth and learned at around 36 weeks that the baby was frank breech. She tried every trick she could to get him to turn and when he did not was not comfortable with the mandatory cesarean. At 38 1/2 weeks she switched care providers to a specialist who focused on vaginal breech deliveries. Tracy was induced at 42 weeks and had a successful, non-medicated vaginal birth. Bert took to breastfeeding like a champ and while Tracy has had her challenges with the transition to motherhood she is such a natural.
