The wonderful Sara Norris with her daughter Emery (3) and son James (9 mo). Sara had healthy pregnancies with each of her children and was able to carry to term. She chose to deliver in a birthing center with midwives each time. The weren't able to find Emery's heart beat in the final stages of labor so they had to perform an episiotomy to get her out which Sara had not anticipated but knew that her midwives wouldn't have done if it wasn't necessary. Her second labor and delivery was without complication. She has been able to breastfeed each of her babies after working through some initial struggles with clogged ducts. Emery nursed until she self-weaned at two and hopes to nurse James until he choses to wean. Sara says that her body didn't change much during her first pregnancy but after her son it's different. She doesn't know if it will ever be same but she doesn't mind because it is changed from being her children's home and she'd rather have this body and have them than anything else.
