The beautiful Bria Servoss with daughter Arrow Lula (22 months). Bria got pregnant unexpectedly and while she and her partner knew it was going to be amazing, Bria dealt with a lot of antenatal depression. She had been on meds for depression that she stopped taking during pregnancy and suffered from withdrawal symptoms as a result and her depression returned with severity. As difficult as Bria's pregnancy was emotionally, she had a wonderful labor in the water and was able to push her daughter out with no medications or intervention. Bria had some tearing which led to her being fearful of having a bowel movement. She ended up withholding for a week and had fissures that needed surgical correction. As a result, it took her over a year to use the bathroom normally. Postpartum depression was also an issue for Bria, she was fearful of leaving the house for several weeks and had specific delusions of someone hurting her daughter. Bria has dealt with her depression greatly by knowing she can weather it and realizing how important she is to her daughter when she's struggling. Bria is currently considering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation as treatment since meds have never been effective for her. She has a wonderful breastfeeding relationship with her daughter that was a struggle at first but they are still going strong at 22 months.
