The beautiful Hannah Behm with her son Preston (22 months). Hannah's first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, and it took her about a year to conceive him. Once she was successfully pregnant, she was sick every single day, making her pregnancy very difficult. Hannah went into labor on a Friday but labored at home until Sunday. She finally went into the hospital and 10 minutes after arriving, her water broke. Her doctor was on call and checked her; she went from a 3 to a 5, then went into retroactive labor and failed to progress. They gave her two bags of pitocin without progress and ultimately, her doctor told her he had to deliver a couple of other babies and then would be back to perform a cesarean. Hannah was devastated. Her surgery took an hour to complete, and she was separated from her son for five hours without explanation. Hannah had hoped to breastfeed her son but had difficulty there as well with her milk not coming in and ultimately had to choose to formula feed. She struggled with not giving birth to her son the way she'd hoped and then not being able to feed him the way she'd intended to. Despite the struggle, Hannah feels lucky to have her son and wants to love herself and let everyone see it.
