The lovely Michelle Evans currently 8 months pregnant with Blaine, and Rosalie (1).
Michelle miscarried when she was 18 but didn't know she was pregnant until it happened. She hadn't thought much about having children prior to that and realized then that she very much wanted to be a mother. Michelle fell into a depression and wasn't sure how to process. She and her husband married soon after but it took two and a half years to conceive. They were thrilled and she imagined the bond was going to be amazing but struggled. It wasn't until Michelle was pregnant with her second child, when Rosalie was 3 months old, that she realized she was struggling with postpartum depression. She didn't want to go on medication while pregnant and didn't have time to go to therapy so she simply tried to get through it. On top of her mental struggles, Michelle has nerve damage in her back from her epidural which has left her in constant pain and worsened her depression.
"I love being a mom and can't wait to get some relief to enjoy the little things with my kids. I was so inspired when I found your page. I've always had body image issues so seeing all the woman being so positive and sharing their motherhood stories I knew it would be so amazing to be a part of the movement."
