The fabulous Tabitha Falcone, Liam (6), and Maxwell (4).
Tabitha conceived her first son unexpectedly, things went well through pregnancy and delivery and when she met her now husband when he was 6 months old, she knew it was meant to be. Tabitha was diagnosed with grade three cervical dysplasia and scheduled for a LEEP procedure when she learned she was pregnant with her second son. They couldn't proceed with the LEEP, so she had extra checkups and biopsies throughout her pregnancy; after he was born it was discovered that a combination of hormones and the physical act of pushing him out had completely removed all the precancerous cells.
Both of Tabitha's deliveries were unmedicated, in part due to a morphine allergy. Her husband adopted Liam, shortly after Maxwell was born and she's happy to have their family feel more complete. They are currently exploring expanding their family further through foster care.
Tabitha's dysplasia came back recently and she had a LEEP procedure to remove the precancerous cells, thankfully, she has been clear and healthy for the past year. She also struggled with postpartum depression following the birth of her youngest and realized that a lot of it was connected to her poor body image. She's struggled throughout her life and decided to start training as a means of feeling strong and capable. She'll be running her first half marathon in a few weeks and is enjoying feeling confident again.
