The beautiful Pamela Franko with her son Adrian (2.5). Pamela was very excited to become a mother and had a Hollywood ideal of how her pregnancy would go. But things didn't go exactly as she'd hoped. She ended up on Zofran due to nausea and food aversions and says that she got lots of negative comments from friends, strangers and co-workers on her changing body. So much so that she considered talking to her human resources department about it. Pamela also developed PUPPS during her pregnancy and postpartum has struggled with diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia, which she plans to get surgically repaired at some point. Adrian was transverse for most of her pregnancy and while she went into labor naturally she stalled and had to be put on Pitocin. She requested an epidural but wasn't progressing and ultimately had a cesarean birth. Pamela is grateful to have delivered surgically as she feels that had she been in the same situation years ago, she or her son's life would have been at risk without medical intervention.
