The stunning Cynthia Shantz and her daughter Zoe (7 months).
Cynthia and her husband decided to stop preventing pregnancy and soon after were able to conceive Zoe. Cynthia had a very healthy pregnancy other than some cycles of feeling very hungry and then very nauseous. She labored over night at home then went into the midwife for a check the next day. She continued to labor at home through the day and went to the hospital when she was about 7cms. Zoe was born about three hours later, at 39 weeks, with no medications or interventions. Cynthia says Zoe didn't cry and was very alert and awake for some time after birth. Breastfeeding has gone very well for the pair, she had planned to nurse until Zoe turned 6 months old but says now that she couldn't imagine just stopping. Cynthia says that she chose to participate because she wants women to see that mothers don't all look the same.
