The lovely Lyne Kelly with her daughter Michelle Nelles and grandson Logan (2). Lyne is the mother of 4, Michelle (28), Stephanie (26), Gabrielle (24) and Kyra (20). Lyne had healthy pregnancies and relatively uneventful deliveries. After birth however she had hemorrhaging. With Michelle, the doctor told her it was normal but with Stephanie, she lost 4 liters of blood. Thankfully, she was able to recover on her own and prepare for her subsequent deliveries. Lyne was able to breastfeed all of her daughters and was a Le League Leader and a Certified Lactation Consultant for many years. Michelle had a healthy pregnancy with Logan. She had nausea throughout, that was better with medication. But she found herself having a difficult time getting attached to Logan because she was afraid that something bad was going to happen. Michelle went for an ultrasound 2 days past her due date and was told she had little to no fluid left so she had to be induced. The induction took and after 11 hours of labor and 15 minutes of pushing Logan was born. Michelle tore very badly and had a difficult recovery with that. Logan has a shallow latch so sometimes breastfeeding is painful for Michelle but her initial goal was 1 year, then 2 and the are still going strong just after his birthday.
